LISTING AGENT Anthony Coretti, Royal LePage Supreme Realty

The Action: This two-storey brick residence in Little Italy was inspected by 70 people at an open house.

What They Got: The roughly 80-year-old townhouse is essentially a semi-detached house with just one neighbour to one side and a walkway on the other to a double garage at the back of the 18-foot by 125-foot lot.

Ceiling heights inside are unusually high, from over nine-feet above in the living and dining rooms and a kitchen with a walkout to the fenced yard to over eight-feet high in three upper bedrooms, including one with kitchen cabinetry.

Practical amenities include two full bathrooms, a finished basement with a recreation room and cantina, as well as a new furnace and roofing installed in the last three years.

The Agent's Take: "It's very close to the subway and you're south of Bloor, so you're also striking distance to the College strip," says agent Anthony Coretti. "It was at the end of a row, so it had a walkway on the side and the lot was wider than some of the homes it was attached to."

The extra width also gave the property more storage space outdoors. "It had laneway access to a double garage, which is great for the area because there is no parking for the most part. You have a lot of street parking," adds Mr. Coretti.
