The Action: On a street lined predominantly with bungalows, this new two-storey residence hosted 40 showings and open houses within a month, which was also marked with a few offers at different times until one stuck at $1.475-million.

What They Got: A former bungalow on a 44-by-115-foot lot was recently redeveloped into this four-bedroom abode with almost 4,000 square feet of living space, including a lower-level recreation room that includes a fifth bedroom and fifth bathroom.

The living room was lavishly appointed with a gas fireplace and the dining area was given elaborate ceiling treatments. The Agent’s Take: “It’s really good quality and good design,” agent Paul Nusca says. “It’s close to a good school … and it’s a handy location between Sunnylea and Kingsway Village, so it’s not close to Bloor, not close to Queensway, but kind of in the middle.”
