The unit had been listed previously, last summer, for $850,000. Agent Greg Dent, who took over the listing, says the original summer listing price was too high. He listed the unit in September for $615,000. It was relisted in October for $599,000 and then they received the one offer, for $515,000. Mr. Dent had been the sellers’ buying agent when they’d purchased the unit many years ago. The buyers were looking to upsize to a two bedroom.

“They ended up selling during an extremely slow market at least partially because of the sweeping views, high ceilings and unique layout,” Mr. Dent says.
