If you're looking for a steal on rent, Quebec appears to be a bargain hunters' dream. La belle province is home to four of the five cheapest cities in which to rent, according to a report released Monday by the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corp. The cheapest rates were found in Trois-Rivières, Que., where the average monthly rent for a two-bedroom apartment was $571 in April, well below the national average of $949. At the other end of the spectrum, Vancouver was the most expensive city with an average monthly rent of $1,345 for a two-bedroom unit.
