The Action: Just north of Coronation Park on Lake Ontario, south-facing units in the Waterpark City community are rarely vacated, so this two-bedroom corner suite was purchased nearly as soon as it appeared in July.

What They Got: On the former Molson Brewery site, a multi-tower condominium complex is home to hundreds of units, such as this 969-square-foot unit on the 35th floor bound by nine-foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows in every room, including the kitchen.

The Agent's Take: "That particular unit is southwest-facing, so it's quite special and they don't come up often, especially on the higher floors," agent Alina Kholodov says. "You have absolutely unobstructed views of Lake Ontario, BMO Field and Ontario Place, and there's nothing to be built there any time soon, it's all protected."

Residents in the decade-old high-rise can easily seek out activities without being in the centre of them. "The complex has incredible amenities," Ms. Kholodov says.
