Bell Canada and its subsidiary Nordia will open a call centre in Peterborough, Ont., that's expected to create 400 new jobs.

Bell says the $5-million centre will start serving its home and wireless customers in late November.

Since 2010, Bell's Nordia has opened or acquired eight call centres in across Canada, including the Peterborough centre.
