This year's 10 best excuses for calling in sick
CareerBuilder.com released the best excuses employees had for calling in sick this year. The survey found that 30 per cent of workers call in sick when they aren't.

<b>Excuse #2:</b></br> Employee forgot he had been hired for the job.
<b>Excuse #3:</b></br> Employee said her dog was having a nervous breakdown.
<b>Excuse #4:</b></br> Employee's dead grandmother was being exhumed for a police investigation.
<b>Excuse #5:</b></br> Employee's toe was stuck in a faucet.
<b>Excuse #6:</b></br> Employee said a bird bit her.
<b>Excuse #7:</b></br> Employee was upset after watching "The Hunger Games."
