Make gratitude your new attitude Add to ...

You can go through each day with a sense of frustration at what is going wrong and not being accomplished, or you can go through each day with a sense of gratitude and bliss. Recently Michael Hyatt, chairman of Thomas Nelson Publishers, started carrying in his pocket a small, smooth stone that tips the balance in his life toward the positive.

Whenever his hand contacts the stone he gives thanks for whatever is happening at that moment, whether good or bad. “It is amazing how this simple act changes my perspective and, ultimately, my attitude. Instead of seeing the glass half-empty, I see it half-full. Instead of focusing on what I don’t have, I focus on what I do have – right now,” he writes on MichaelHyatt.com.
