Impose a quota to reduce e-mails

Information overload expert Nathan Zeldes recommends putting a quota on outgoing e-mail, giving employees appropriate allowances and perhaps like Ferrari, limiting to three the number of addresses in any internal e-mail. Consultant Heather Huhman says research shows that a hiring manager who hears an applicant's job qualifications, rather than just reading them, will view the candidate more positively, so consider one-way video screening interviews for that purpose.
