The Canadian dollar tumbled to its lowest level in more than a decade on Wednesday. It closed the day at 76.73 cents (U.S.), well below last summer's highs north of 90 cents. But it's not just the loonie slumping against the U.S. dollar – several major currencies have dropped even further over the past year. One exception is the Chinese yuan, which is essentially unchanged versus the U.S. dollar over the past 12 months. As of late Thursday morning, the loonie had clawed back some of yesterday's loss.
