Economic readings
U.S. retail sales figures on Friday are expected to show consumer spending ticking up in April after falling 0.4 per cent in March. With the U.S. economy adding the fewest jobs in seven months in April, the report could keep the debate alive over whether the Fed will soon hike interest rates.
