The Bloomberg World Mining Index touched to its lowest level in nearly seven years on Monday as an industry giant got pummelled. The index, which tracks the world's leading mining stocks, was dragged lower by Glencore PLC, whose shares plunged nearly 30 per cent on the day to close at an all-time low. Commodity producers face a murky outlook as global growth concerns continue to weigh on prices.
