A recent Ipsos Reid online survey asked 1,013 adults to assess 100 brands on the basis of whether they considered each a trendsetter, unique, innovative or ahead of its time. Each respondent was exposed to 10 brands and a battery of 14 statements (among a series of other statements). Respondents were asked to "please select all the brands that you feel apply to each statement".
