Advertising spending in Canada is forecast to show "little growth" this year as Internet gains are offset by "greater erosion" in print media, according to a report from ZenithOptimedia. Total spending is projected to climb 0.6 per cent to $11.46-billion, with the Internet accounting for the largest share at 38.15 per cent. Here is where advertising dollars were spent last year:
