Despite low numbers of women in their boardrooms and executive suites, most Canadian executives are not particularly concerned about female representation at the top ranks of their companies. And most oppose the “comply or explain” approach that would force public companies to report on their efforts to increase the numbers, or explain why they don’t have policies in place to do this.
