earlier discussion

While the prospect of rolling out of bed and working from home may be appealing to some, it's certainly not for everyone. For many entrepreneurs and startups, a co-working space is a welcome alternative to the home office and neighbourhood cafe.

But how do you know if co-working is right for you? How much does it cost? And what factors should you consider before joining a co-working space?

On Friday, Oct. 3 at 1 p.m. (ET) we will hold a microbusiness live discussion, sponsored by TD Bank, with a focus on the benefits and drawbacks of co-working spaces.

We'll put reader questions to our participants: Jennifer Vincent, founder of Cowork Penticton, a shared professional workspace with a focus on community-building; Chad Ballantyne, co-founder of The Creative Space, a Barrie, Ont.-based co-working space that gives freelancers, startups and micro-businesses the opportunity to collaborate; and Ian MacKinnon, founder of Latergram.me, a startup that operates out of Launch Academy, an entrepreneurial facility in Vancouver, B.C.
