In order for Canadian small businesses to thrive, they need to think globally. But how can businesses with limited resources successfully sell in foreign markets?

Globe and Mail small business editor Sarah Efron discussed the topic with two insightful business leaders.

Allison Boulton is an international trade adviser with Small Business BC. She recently returned from living in China and the Middle East, and previously worked at a boutique Canadian winery that exported to over 20 countries.

Frank Burdzy is president and CEO of Champion Petfoods. The Edmonton-based company sells premium pet foods all over the world.
