The #Takeoff series is about crowdsourcing issues important to Canadian small businesses. They tell us about their defining moments and we write about their stories, the issues, and strategies for success or how to overcome obstacles.
Next we look at veterinarians who launched a mobile service in Alberta.
The Globe asked readers whether they would use a home-visit vet service. Here are some responses from our @GlobeSmallBiz Twitter feed.
@GlobeSmallBiz @vetstogo Would make life easier for parents. Used a housecall when we had to say goodbye to our old cat. Worth every penny.

.@GlobeSmallBiz @vetstogo I wouldn't- but I own a car and have a vet close by. In-home euthanasia might be your USP.- I''d use that #TakeOff

@GlobeSmallBiz @AndreaJhnn @vetstogo So agree. That's when the premium is no obstacle at all

@GlobeSmallBiz @vetstogo No. 40 lb dog can be taken to clinic where there is medicine and "tools" and second opinions,. Probably costs less.
