Daniel Cohen and Mark Sadaka for the past two years have co-owned and operated Sentrig, a company that offers marketers innovative technology to promote their products. A backlit billboard for poster advertising doubles as a mirror when someone walks by it.
The business accomplishments of the McGill University students include selling 100 units within the first year of business and grossing more than $30,000 in annual revenue, as well as having the opportunity to pitch to industry leaders such as L'Oreal, Astral Media and Clear Channel Outdoor.
They were named the 2010 Student Entrepreneur Quebec Champions by national charitable organization Advancing Canadian Entrepreneurship (ACE). Listen to a podcast with them here.
