BMO Nesbitt Burns has hired Joel Fishbein as a senior analyst covering software.
Mr. Fishbein will join the bank's tech, telecom and media equity research team. BMO already employs eight other analysts covering 127 technology stocks across these sectors.
"Joel brings with him strong relationships, deep fundamentally-driven research and a collaborative approach to our technology team," said Christine Farkas, director of U.S. equity research, in a statement.
In his previous role as managing director at Lazard Capital Markets, which he joined in 2006, Mr. Fishbein covered application and infrastructure software as a senior analyst. He starts in BMO's New York office on Nov. 18.
