GMP Capital Inc. has a new head of research, hiring Stephen Harris from Macquarie Group's Canadian office.
Mr. Harris brings a macro-strategy bent to GMP, which focuses mostly on smaller cap stocks and resource names. At Macquarie, in addition to running the research department, he looked at broader macro strategy themes.
