National Bank Financial has named Trevor Johnson as the investment bank's newest analyst to help cover real estate investment trusts.
Mr. Johnson was already employed by NBF but covered a variety of names across different sectors, such as Temple Hotels Inc.
The announcement comes in the midst of a flurry of movement on Bay Street as REIT analysts play musical chairs.
Some have left their old roles to become the lead analysts other banks, while others have left Bay Street all together to do things such as run newly created REITs.
The changes at NBF come after Heather Kirk left the bank in January to join BMO Nesbitt Burns.
Other holes still to be filled on Bay Street include replacing Michael Markidis who left RBC Dominion Securities to join Desjardins Securities.
