The up and down season of pitcher Chad Jenkins is up again.

The Toronto Blue Jays reliever has once again been recalled from the minors by the American League club on Tuesday in advance of the Blue Jays game Tuesday night here against the Detroit Tigers.

Jenkins, 26, has appeared in three games for Toronto this season out of the bullpen, allowing three runs. This marks the fourth stint for the righthander in 2014.

In 13 games, including four starts, in Triple-A for the Buffalo Bisons, Jenkins has a 1-3 record with two saves and a 4.01 ERA.
