Raptors forward Andrea Bargnani was slated to return for Toronto's home game versus the Boston Celtics on Wednesday after a 26-game absence.

The Italian last played Dec. 10 when he suffered a strained right wrist and torn ligaments in his right elbow in a game at Portland.

Raptors coach Dwane Casey said Bargnani would come in off the bench against the Celtics.

The six-year veteran has averaged 16 points and 4.3 rebounds a game this season.
