Why don't more Canadians care about the Raptors?

As the Toronto Raptors suit up for Game 6 against the Miami Heat, they have a chance to win the series and make franchise history by advancing to the Eastern Conference finals. This has been nothing less than a slam-dunk season for the Toronto Raptors, but interest in the NBA among Canadians is still low compared to other professional sports leagues like the NHL, CFL and MLB. If there was ever a time for Canadians to go wild, it would be now – especially for Raptors fans, who have Drake’s celebrity power, Jurassic Park and a record-breaking season.
