The Miami Heat visit Toronto Tuesday night, but former Raptor Chris Bosh won't be there to face his former team in the city where he first rose to NBA fame.

The 29-year-old star Miami centre is spending the day with his family after his wife Adrienne delivered the couple's second child on Monday, a daughter they named Dylan Skye.

"It was beautiful day for his family," said Heat coach Erik Spoelstra following Tuesday's shootaround at Air Canada Centre. "It's coincidental that it ended up the day of the Toronto game, but he's spending some nice family time, and we're happy for him."

The back-to-back NBA champions got off to a shaky start to the season, making a rare fall under the .500 mark last week. Now 2-2, they have been trying to fix what they call issues of chemistry.

The 2-1 Raptors are coming off a win in Milwaukee. They will play Miami three more times this season, including another contest in Toronto on Nov. 29.
