The Toronto Raptors waived forward-centre Dwayne Jones on Monday.

He was acquired with guard Leandro Barbosa in a July 14 trade with Phoenix that saw disgruntled forward Hedo Turkoglu go to the Suns.

Jones, a six-foot-10 250-pounder, is a five-year NBA veteran who has averaged 1.3 points in 82 career games.

With the move, the Raptors' roster is down to 15 players.
