Leo Rautins and Allison McNeill are returning as coaches of the Canadian men's and women's basketball teams.

Both were given two-year contract extensions as part of the strategic plan unveiled by Canada Basketball today in Toronto.

Rautins has been in charge of the men's team since 2005, and recently led the squad through a winless run at the world championship.

McNeill has been coaching the women's team since 2002, and led the club to a 12th place finish at the world championship earlier this month.

The organization also appointed Maurizio Gherardini men's national team director. Renato Pasquali was named technical director while Michele O'Keefe takes over as director of basketball operations.
