Los Angeles Lakers guard Steve Nash took part in a full practice for the second straight day on Friday, and said there's an outside chance he could play on Saturday against Golden State, ESPNLosAngeles.com reported Friday.

"There's a chance I play [Saturday]," Nash told ESPNLosAngeles.com. "But I think Christmas, for sure."

He later said there is only a "low chance" he will play Saturday and will decide during Saturday's shootaround whether he'll play Saturday night against the Warriors.

His decision will depend on how his body responds to Friday's practice and the opinion of the Lakers' trainers.

Nash, 38, is recovering from a fractured fibula, and has said for several days that he expects to return on Tuesday (Christmas Day) when the Lakers host the New York Knicks.

Nash was injured on Oct. 31 and has played in just two games this season. He has not played since Mike D'Antoni was named the team's head coach.
