Greivis Vasquez posts picture of himself in Raptors jersey on his Instagram account ahead of signing new deal with Toronto

Guard Greivis Vasquez has reportedly re-signed with the Toronto Raptors.

Though the team could not confirm a deal had been made as of Wednesday night, the 27-year-old Vasquez tweeted that an agreement was in place via his official Twitter account.

"Happy to be back with the best fans of the NBA – Toronto Raptors fans," wrote Vasquez, who was a restricted free agent.

He also included a link to his instagram account with a photo of him in his No. 21 Raptors uniform.

Teammate DeMar DeRozan also tweeted out a congratulatory message to Vasquez.

"Glad to have the swagged out (at)greivisvasquez back! Congrats brotha!!!" DeRozan wrote from his verified account.

Vasquez was originally drafted 28th overall by the Memphis Grizzlies in 2010 and joined the Raptors during the 2013-14 season in the trade that sent Rudy Gay to the Sacramento Kings. In 61 games with Toronto, Vasquez averaged 9.5 points-per game and 3.7 assists-per game, splitting time between shooting guard and point guard.

The Venezuelan has also signed on as an ambassador for the Pan American Games in Toronto next summer.

The Raptors also signed first round draft pick Bruno Caboclo to a rookie contract on Wednesday.

Caboclo, an 18-year-old Brazilian forward, is under contract through the 2015-16 season, with two team option years to follow. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed but according to the NBA rookie scale, Caboclo will earn a base salary of $1.215-million and $1.270-million over the next two years.

The Raptors selected Caboclo with the 20th overall pick of the 2014 NBA draft.

The 6-foot-9, 205-pound Caboclo was named MVP at the 2013 Basketball Without Borders Americas. He played in 16 games this past season with Pinheiros in Sao Paulo, where he contributed 4.9 points and 3.1 rebounds. In three Liga Americas games, he averaged 8.0 points shooting .714 from the field and .667 from three-point range.

Caboclo and the Raptors open their preliminary round at the 2014 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas on Friday versus the Los Angeles Lakers
