Bruins at Penguins – By Monday, both Zdeno Chara's Boston and, above, Sidney Crosby's Pittsburgh were the two hottest teams in the Eastern Conference. They are shaping up as the top two contenders in the East and this is the first of two games they play this week. Tuesday, 7:30 p.m., TSN, RDS, NBCSN.
Canadiens at Devils –Montreal remains the improbable Eastern Conference leader while by Monday New Jersey, which was a Stanley Cup finalist last spring, was hanging on to the last playoff spot with goalie Martin Brodeur injured. Saturday, 7 p.m., CBC, RDS.
Ducks at Blues –Anaheim and St. Louis are pretty much opposite to what the "experts" said was in store for them. Anaheim is a comfortable second in the Western Conference while the Blues are eighth but showing signs of life. This game should show if the Blues are ready to finally get moving. Saturday, 8 p.m., Prime, Fox Sports Midwest.
Red Wings at Canucks –Vancouver is managing to stay third in the West ahead of Detroit thanks to being a division leader. But they are close in points and always provide a show. Saturday, 10 p.m., CBC, RDS2.
Bruins at Penguins – The second game between them this week could be a preview of the Eastern Conference playoff final. Sunday, 12:30 p.m., NBC, RDS, NHL Network Canada.
