The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed free-agent wide receiver Nick Moore on Tuesday.

The 27-year-old from Westerville, Ohio, spent the past three seasons with the B.C. Lions, where he finished third in the CFL in receiving in 2013.

Moore also led the Lions with 73 receptions for 1,105 yards and six touchdowns.

"Nick proved his worth as one of the best receivers in our league last season," said Blue Bombers general manager Kyle Walters. "He will be a great addition to our offence, and we are very excited to bring him on board."

Moore had four games with over 100 receiving yards last season, including a 12-catch, 159-yard, one touchdown performance against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in September.

Tuesday was the first day of CFL free agency.
