The McMaster Marauders made a statement at their homecoming game.
The No. 9-ranked Marauders cruised to a 66-3 win over the Waterloo Warriors on Saturday in Canadian university football action.
McMaster (3-3) struck for 37 points in the opening half to put the game out of reach for a struggling Waterloo (1-5) team.
Marauders' quarterback Marshall Ferguson of Kingston, Ont., tossed five touchdowns to four different receivers while Kasean Davis-Reynolds of Mississauga, Ont., rushed for two touchdowns.
The Marauder defence also forced six turnovers and registered six sacks. McMaster defensive-back Keldyn Ahlsted of Whitby, Ont., had three interceptions.
Ferguson finished 23 for 31 passing for 309 yards with five touchdowns in three quarters of play. Davis Reynolds amassed 74-yards on 11 attempts with 64 of those yards coming before the half.
Tyler Loveday of Kitchener caught two of Ferguson's touchdown passes while Michael DiCroce of Hamilton posted a game high 91 yards receiving. Also scoring touchdowns were Daniel Vandervoort of Barrie, Ont., Joshua Vandeweerd of Burlington, Ont. and Declan Cross of Oakville, Ont.
Waterloo quareterback Brian Chris threw four interceptions for the Warriors and posted only 72 yards in the loss. The Marauder defence stymied the Waterloo attack allowing only 172 total yards.

Queen's 40, Laurier 34 (OT)
At Kingston, Ont., James Fracas threw four touchdown passes for the Golden Hawks (1-6), who lost in overtime for the second game in a row. Laurier looked to have blocked a Queen's (5-1) field goal attempt in overtime but, in a wild sequence, the ball was booted into the endzone and recovered by the Gaels' Aaron Gazendam for the touchdown.

At Ottawa, the winless Ravens (0-6) did get something to cheer about in their loss to the cross-town rival Gee Gees (4-3), with Tunde Adeleke scoring on a 129 yard punt return.

At Windsor, Ont., the Mustangs got off to a 24-0 lead in the first quarter over the Lancers (4-3). Western (7-0) intercepted three passes, with Simon Bahru returning one 54 yards to the end zone.

At Winnipeg, Carson Williams completed 22 of 40 passes for 348 yards and two touchdowns, including a 15-yarder to Micha Theil in the fourth quarter, to lead the Thunderbirds (3-3) over the Bisons (3-3).

At Regina, the Golden Bears (0-6) took a 15-0 lead in the first quarter, but they are still looking for their first win of the season after a heartbreaking loss to the Rams. Regina (1-5) took the lead with under a minute remaining on John Kiesman's one-yard run that capped a nine-play, 75-yard drive.

Bishop's 30, McGill 29
At Montreal, O'Shane Daley kicked a fumbled ball from a punt into the end zone for a single with 11 seconds remaining as No. 8-ranked Bishop's scored a wild 30-29 victory over McGill in CIS football action on Friday.
McGill's Samy Rassy punted from his own 14-yard line and the return was fumbled, before being punted, and eventually kicked back into the Redmen end zone, where the Gaitors (4-2) were rewarded with a rouge.
The victory was overshadowed by an apparent head or neck injury to Bishop's defensive back Jonathan Fortin early in the fourth quarter. He was put on a spinal board and after a 28-minute delay, was sent to hospital in an ambulance.
Jordan Heather passed for 438 yards and two touchdowns for the Gaitors, including a 16- and a 41-yarder to Stephen Adekolu. Heather also scored on a three-yard run.
McGill (3-3) quarterback Jonathan Collin threw a 21-yard touchdown pass to J.P. Paquette, and he also scored on runs of three yards and one.
Luis Guimont-Mota lugged the ball 27 times for 168 yards for the Redmen.
It's the third time in four games Bishop's has won by one point.
The teams combined for 1,023 yards in total offence — 515 for Bishop's to 508 for McGill. First downs were almost as evenly split, 32-31 for the Gaitors.

At Guelph, Ont., the Gryphons are off to a 6-and-0 start after whipping York.
Rob Farquharson rushed 20 times for 129 yards and two touchdowns for the Gryphons (6-0), who took a 20-0 lead into the fourth quarter. Guelph rolled up 518 total yards, including 296 through the air.
York (2-4) got its lone touchdown on an 18-yard run by Erroll Brooks.
