Rotrand Sene rushed for two touchdowns Friday as the No. 3 Montreal Carabins pounded the Concordia Stingers 38-0 in Canadian university football.
The Carabins running back finished with 118 yards on 14 carries to go along with two catches for 45 yards as Montreal improved to 5-0 on the season.
Montreal quarterback Alexandre Nadeau-Piuze was 13-for-21 passing for 244 yards and a touchdown. He also ran in another score.
Ali Ndao caught five balls for 96 yards and touchdown, while Nicolas Gauthier returned an interception for the Carabins’ other TD.
Charles Bauer accounted for the other Montreal points with a 15-yard field goal and five converts.
Reid Quest had a miserable day at quarterback for Concordia (2-3), finishing 14-of-26 passing for 168 yards and three interceptions.
In the only other game in the CIS, No. 7 Regina scored a late touchdown to beat No. 8 Manitoba 30-27.
At Montreal, Nadeau-Piuze scored from a yard out in the first quarter to give the Carabins an early lead.
After Bauer made it 10-0, Nadeau-Piuze hooked up with Ndao on a 20-yard TD strike as the Carabins led 17-0 at the half.
Sene got into the action in the third quarter with touchdown runs of five and 24 yards before Gauthier returned a Quest interception 34 yards to make it 38-0.
There was no scoring in the fourth quarter.

At Regina, Marc Mueller hooked up with Connor Haas on a 23-yard touchdown pass with 20 seconds to go in the fourth quarter as the Rams defeated Manitoba.
Mueller finished 35-of-55 passing for 397 yards and two TDs for Regina (4-1).
Cam Clark was 9-for-28 for 236 yards, two touchdowns and four interceptions for Manitoba (3-2).Report Typo/Error
