Ricky Foley says he's good with being a Toronto Argonaut again.

The veteran defensive end admitted he was shocked Saturday when the Saskatchewan Roughriders dealt him to Toronto for linebacker Shea Emry.

Foley had signed a contract extension with the Riders in December and was looking forward to playing his third season in Saskatchewan.

He won a Grey Cup title with Toronto in 2012 before signing with Saskatchewan as a free agent in 2013.

The 32-year-old native of Courtice, Ont., helped the Riders capture a CFL championship that season.

On Monday, Foley issued a passionate thank-you to Riders fans via Twitter account.

Foley began his CFL career with B.C. and won his first Grey Cup title in '06 with the Lions before joining the Argos as a free agent in 2010.
