Former University of Western Ontario defensive lineman Vaughn Martin has signed a four-year contract with the San Diego Chargers, the team that drafted him with the 13th pick of the fourth round back in April's NFL Draft. The London, Ont., native was the first Canadian university underclassman ever to declare himself eligible for the NFL Draft, having played just two seasons at Western before leaving school.
