Jason Day is joining Team RBC.

The fourth ranked player in the world has signed on to be a global ambassador for the Canadian-based bank, joining a lineup that includes fellow PGA Tour pros Matt Kuchar, Jim Furyk, Brandt Snedeker, Graeme McDowell and Graham DeLaet.

"I'm proud to partner with organizations that place an emphasis on and share my interest in giving back to the community," Day said in a statement released Thursday. "RBC has a rich history of doing this through their sponsorship of golf and the extensive ambassadorial program they have in place."

Day is a three-time PGA Tour winner, including the Farmers Insurance Open last month and the 2014 WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship. He's had seven top ten finishes at major championships, including runner-up at the 2011 Masters Tournament and the 2011 and 2013 U.S. Open.

Other recent additions to Team RBC include Canadian golfers Adam Hadwin, Brooke Henderson and Nick Taylor in a nod to the bank's Canadian roots.

As the title sponsor of both the RBC Heritage and the RBC Canadian Open, RBC also supports emerging Canadian golfers through Golf Canada's grassroots developmental programming, their Canadian Amateur Golf Championships and high performance national team.
