Jennifer Kirby of Paris, Ont. is the top Canadian through two rounds of the LPGA's Final Qualifying Tournament in Florida.

The former college standout at Alabama recovered from an early bogey and closed with three birdies over her final six holes for a round of 3-under 69 on the Hills Course at LPGA International. That leaves her in a tie for 11th.

Maude-Aimee Leblanc (73) of Sherbrooke, Que. is tied for 43rd heading into the third round while Lorie Kane (73) of Charlottetown is tied for 53rd. Natalie Gleadall (73) of Stratford, Ont. is tied for 66th.

Only the top 70 will advance to the final round on Sunday after Saturday's fourth round.

Sara-Maude Juneau (70) of Fossambault, Que. is tied for 80th, just one stroke off the cut line as is Stephanie Sherlock (74) of Barrie, Ont.

Erica Rivard (72) of Tecumseh, Ont. and Jessica Shepley (76) of Oakville, Ont. are tied for 109th while Ashley Sholer (78) of Hamilton, Ont. is tied for 130th. Nicole Vandermade (74) of Brantford, Ont. is tied for 138th.

Jaye Marie Green continued her dominance on Thursday, carding a second-round 68 to open up a five-stroke lead on the rest of the field. After breaking the course record with a 62 on the Jones Course on Wednesday, Green fired a bogey-free second round on the Hills Course to take her two-day total to 14-under.

Amy Anderson, the winningest college golfer from North Dakota and the medalist at Stage II qualifying, sits in solo fifth place with a two-day total of 7-under-par.

Cheyenne Woods, the niece of Tiger Woods, rebounded from an opening round 77 to shoot 73 on the Hills Course. But her 6-over total leaves her tied for 122nd.

Only the top 20 after Sunday's final round will earn full-time status for the 2014 LPGA Tour season while players finishing 21st through 45th and ties will earn conditional status. Anyone making the cut will also secure playing priveleges on the Symetra Tour.
