Golf Canada Foundation

PGA Tour stars along with up and coming Canadian golfers and sports celebrities will tee it up in the first ever Golf Canada Foundation Pro-Am to start Canada's National Open Championship week.

Four-time Olympic alpine skier Brian Stemmle, two-time NHL scoring champion Steven Stamkos and Hockey Hall of Famer members Marcel Dionne and Dale Hawerchuck will join forces with former Masters champion Mike Weir, Canada's top ranked PGA Tour pro Graham DeLaet, four-time LPGA Tour winner Lorie Kane and former top ranked amateurs Eugene Wong and Albin Choi on Monday, July 22nd at Glen Abbey Golf Club, site of this year's RBC Canadian Open.

The Golf Canada Foundation supports and promotes programs that increase participation in golf by engaging players of all ages and abilities across the country. Since 1982, the Golf Canada Foundation has awarded more than $2.2 million in scholarships and grants to promising young golfers.
