Alexander Galchenyuk scored once and setup two more as the Sarnia Sting downed the host Brampton Battalion 4-1 on Sunday afternoon in Ontario Hockey League play.

Reid Boucher had a goal and an assist for the Sting (8-6-1), who have won three straight games, while Brett Hargrave and Nickolas Latta scored a goal apiece.

Blake Clarke scored the lone goal for the Battalion (5-6-5), who have lost three in a row.

Brodie Barrick made 30 saves for the win as Jake Smith stopped 11-of-14 shots in a losing cause.

Latta opened the scoring 10:21 into the game converting on a Nikolay Goldobin pass and firing a shot by Smith.

Boucher made it 2-0 on the power play just over a minute later, firing a quick shot past Smith from the slot.

Clarke curbed the deficit to one on the man advantage with a little over six minutes remaining in the second period.

Galchenyuk made it 3-1 with eight minutes to play in the third, beating Smith blocker side, before Hargrave rounded out the scoring with an empty-net goal in the final minute.

Sarnia went 1-for-3 on the power play while Brampton capitalized on 1-of-4 opportunities with the man advantage.

The win was Sarnia's first in Brampton since the 2003-04 season.
