Mark Scheifele had three goals and an assist as the Barrie Colts beat the visiting Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds 5-3 in Ontario Hockey League action on Saturday night.

Anthony Camara and Josh MacDonald had the other goals for Barrie (18-7-1), while Zach Hall and Aaron Ekblad had a pair of assists apiece.

Ryan Sproul, Jared McCann and Michael Schumacher replied for Sault Ste. Marie (11-13-2), as Colin Miller added two assists.

Mathias Niederberger turned aside 30 shots in the win as Matt Murray made 34 saves in a losing cause.

The Colts went 2-for-7 on the power play while the Greyhounds were 0-for-4.
