Forward Dainius Zubrus has agreed to a new three-year extension with the New Jersey Devils worth almost $10-million.

According to The Star-Ledger, the deal is worth $3.1-million a year.

The 35-year-old Zubrus was set to become an unrestricted free agent this week. He tallied two goals and seven assists in 22 games this past season.

The Devils are also said to be close to a new deal with Patrick Elias. The 37-year-old is New Jersey's all-time leading scorer and led the team in scoring for the eighth time in the last 13 years with 14 goals and 36 points this past season.

Elias just completed a seven year deal worth $42-million.
