Linus Soderstom stopped 17 shots to lead Sweden past Slovakia 6-0 in quarter-final action Saturday at the world junior hockey championship.

The shutout was Soderstrom's second of the tournament. He's the lone netminder in this year's event to record a shutout.

Adrian Kempe, Jens Looke, Axel Holmstrom, Jakob Forsbacka Karlsson, Alexandre Nylander and Christoffer Ehn scored Sweden, which put the game away with three third-period goals.

Slovakian goalie Adam Huska stopped 49 shots.
