In Pictures: Bruins and Habs are forever rivals

The Montreal Canadiens and Boston Bruins have had a long history of heated NHL battles. The Original Six rivals are at it again this spring in the 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs with Montreal taking Game 1 in overtime.

Fights and missile throwing marked the path of the mob that roamed down Montreal's St. Catherine Street on March 17, 1955. The rioters broke windows and looted stores. The violence was the aftermath of a riot that began in the Montreal Forum when Hockey fans protested the suspension of the City's favorite player, Maurice "Rocket" Richard of the Canadiens
