Denny Morrison reached a milestone with his 40th individual World Cup long-track speed skating medal on Sunday, while fellow Canadian Ivanie Blondin captured her sixth medal of the season.

Morrison earned his first trip to the podium this season with a bronze in the men's 1,500 metres, while Blondin took silver in the women's mass start.

Canada's Alex Gough added to her luge World Cup medal collection, capturing a silver on Saturday.

It was Gough's third silver medal of this season, and 21st World Cup medal of her career.

Russia's Tatiana Ivanova won the gold with 1:35.306, while Dajana Eitberger of luge powerhouse Germany slid to bronze in 1:35.753.
