Josh Sanderson had three goals and six assists as the Toronto Rock shut down the Philadelphia Wings 15-6 in National Lacrosse League action Saturday.

It was Sanderson's third straight game with a hat trick. He was named the NLL's player of the week on Feb. 1.

Garrett Billings scored and added eight assists for Toronto (3-2), which shut out the Wings for the entire second half.

Stephan Leblanc had four goals and two assists for the Rock, while Dan Carey and Jamie Rooney both had a pair of goals. Rob Marshall, Kasey Beirnes and Brenden Thenhaus added singles.

Philadelphia (2-2) had six different scorers as Ned Crotty, Kevin Crowley, Brodie Merrill, Dan Dawson, Drew Westervelt and David Brock put the ball in the net.

Matt Roik made 35 saves for the win, while Brandon Miller stopped 32 shots.

The Rock went 2-for-4 on the power play, while the Wings were 1-for-5 with the man advantage.

The win puts Toronto in sole possession of first place in the NLL's Eastern Conference. The Rock have won three games in a row, recovering from a two-loss start to the season.

Toronto won the game without the services of star forwards Blaine Manning and captain Colin Doyle.

Doyle missed his second consecutive game with a lower body injury, while Manning is still out with a broken collarbone.
