Barbora Zahlavova Strycova defeated Marina Erakovic in three sets Sunday to win the $220,000 Bell Challenge WTA tennis event.



After dropping the first set 6-4 to New Zealand's Erakovic, Zahlavova Strycova won the next two sets 6-1, 6-0.



It was the first singles title for the native of the Czech Republic.



In the doubles final, Raquel Kops-Jones and Abigail Spears of the United States beat American Jamie Hampton and Georgia's Anna Tatishvili 6-1, 3-6, 10-6.
