Several teams are reportedly interested in acquiring Minnesota Wild defenceman Sean O'Donnell before the NHL trade deadline.

O'Donnell will become an unrestricted free agent on July 1 and will probably be moved.

In the meantime, O'Donnell has to live with all the trade rumours.

"I told my friends that if they see rumours in the Canadian newspapers, then don't tell me," O'Donnell told the Minnesota Star Tribune. "I heard some rumours a couple of months ago, and it might have affected me a bit. But I try not to think about it any more."

O'Donnell knows the rumours have run amok because of his personal life. O'Donnell is to be married this summer to actress Alison Dunbar, leading to speculation he will end up in the New York area or California.

The Wild play the Anaheim Mighty Ducks tonight.

"I don't think I'm auditioning or anything like that," O'Donnell said. "If something happens down the line and something happens to work out with New Jersey, then that happens, and it will be fine.

"And if something works out here, then that will be fine. Right now, it's not something I'm thinking about."
