Toronto FC forward Danny Koevermans is Major League Soccer's player of the week after scoring two goals in two games.
The Dutch striker scored his first goal of the week in the 78th minute of Toronto's 3-0 win over the Montreal Impact last Wednesday. He struck again on Saturday as Toronto came back to draw the New York Red Bulls 1-1.
The two-goal week extended Koevermans' scoring streak to four games.
It's Koevermans' second player of the week award, previously winning in Week 27 of the 2011 season.
The 33-year old edged out TFC teammate Torsten Frings and Chicago's Sean Johnson.
