Toronto FC has waived midfielder Matt Stinson.

Stinson had two assists in 25 appearances over two seasons with the Major Soccer League club.

The Toronto native earned his first cap with the Canadian national team on Jan, 29, coming in as a substitute during a friendly against the United States.
